Cookie Statement
The cookies and similar technologies used on nuevaldesign.com, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 11 October 20261. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices, and understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. In this statement, “cookies” covers all of these.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into the following categories:
| Category | Purpose | Set with consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enable core functions such as page navigation and remembering your cookie choice. The Site cannot work properly without these. | No — always on |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page, approximate location), so we can improve it. | Yes |
| Marketing | Used by advertising tools (for example Google Ads) to measure campaigns and, where enabled, show relevant ads. | Yes |
3. Cookies and storage we may use
The exact list depends on which tools are enabled at launch. Typical items include:
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose / retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| nueval_cookie_consent | nuevaldesign.com | Strictly necessary | Stores whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies (local storage, until cleared). |
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguish visitors and sessions; up to 24 months, configurable. |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguish visitors; 24 hours. |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Marketing | Conversion measurement for advertising; 90 days. |
| IDE / _gcl_* | Google Ads / DoubleClick | Marketing | Ad delivery and measurement; up to 13 months. |
Some of these cookies are only set once the corresponding tools are enabled and, where required, once you have consented. If a tool is not enabled, its cookies will not appear.
4. Your choices
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Your choice is remembered on your device. You can change or withdraw it at any time by:
- clearing the Site data in your browser (this resets the banner so you can choose again); or
- using your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you do this in their privacy or security settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
To manage advertising cookies from Google, you can use Google’s Ads Settings. To opt out of analytics across sites, you can use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond, and the Site does not currently respond to these signals. We rely on the consent banner and your browser settings instead.
6. Changes
We may update this statement as the tools we use change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
